Radiant Heating Done Right!
The market for radiant heating systems in North America has increased approximately 500 percent over the last decade. The superior comfort and fuel efficiency that a properly designed radiant heating system provides has made it the choice of discriminating consumers.
Any rapidly increasing market attracts new companies eager to share in the opportunities. This has certainly been the case with hydronic radiant heating.
Unfortunately some companies have entered the radiant heating market with little thought (or concern) of what lies ahead. Some assume the experience they have with simpler systems is sufficient for designing and installing a sophisticated multi-load / multi-temperature hydronic system. Others attempt to lower installation prices by using unproven materials or installation methods. In many cases these approaches lead to very disappointing results. Make no mistake about it – all hydronic radiant heating systems are not created equally.
Every year, Hytech Heating receives inquiries from frustrated building owners about the inadequate performance of poorly designed or improperly installed heating system. When investigating these situations we often find components that have been improperly sized or installed. In some cases important portions of the system have been omitted to save cost. Although repairs are usually possible, they often add substantial cost that could have been avoided with proper design and installation.
Hytech Heating won’t “experiment” with your comfort. We don’t “cheapen” systems using untested methods to reduce our installation time or increase our profit. For 25 years our systems have been designed around proven, high quality materials, and installed with the highest standards of craftsmanship.
We’re proud to compare our workmanship to that used in other systems. Please take a look at some of the hydronic radiant heating system depicted in this section. You’ll see there is a difference between the design and installation methods used by the professionals at Hytech Heating and those used by other heating installers. |
